No. Turf'd simply sells great quality and great priced turf. Most (if not all) of our customers pickup and lay their own turf themselves.

1 roll or 1 cut of turf costs between $6 and $15 per m2, depending on the type of turf you purchase. Generally, couch is cheaper than buffalo or zoysia.

While Queenslanders can lay turf all year round, in the colder climates it is best to lay your turf in Spring.

Each turf variety will have different watering requirements. But when you first lay your turf it is very important to soak or fully water your new turf every 2 days, for the first 3 weeks of laying. Generally you can revert to watering once weekly after this.

Couch will sow it roots deep into the soil, but as a result will grow very slowly horizontally. Comparatively, Buffalo grows very quickly horizontally and can provide a thick dense covering in a shorter period. Buffalo does not have deep roots by comparison.

It's important to bring the right vehicle to pickup your turf. We recommend a tray back ute with foldable sides. Tub style utes will need to be hand-loaded as we cannot use a forklift to load these style of utes.
